1827	Wrote will. Probate obtained 1st. May 1827. This names his wife as Rebecca, his sons as Christopher, Samuel and Thomas and his daughter Ann, wife of William Grundy. Samuel left his two farms in Mapperley to his wife and son Samuel; to Christopher he left the Top House and buildings at Cotes Park in the parish of Alfreton and to Thomas, the nether house and other buildings at Cotes Park
