OFFENCES AS CHARGED IN THE COMMITMENT: Stealing, on the 19th day of November, 1879, six lamb hog sheep, together of the value of 9 pounds, the property of one John Bridges, Stanley.
ALSO, Stealing, on the 1st day of January, 1880, fourteen fowls, the property of Job Turton, Heanor.
ALSO, Stealing, on the 1st day of January, 1880, six sheep, property of William Riley, Boulton.

John Jackson Kyte was sent to Wormwood Scrubs Prison in Hammersmith, London, where he is recorded on the 1881 census.
He may have been sent there as he was a joiner, as at that time the Scrubs was being rebuilt, by the prisoners.
He died in Derby in 1889, possibly as a result of the penal servitude.
