connected, members of the Mee and Carrington families married into the Holbrook
family of Heanor.
Also, the Holbrooks were stonemasons and examples of their work can be seen in Smalley
Parish Church graveyard and the Smalley Baptist Chapel graveyard, as well as Marpool Cemetery.
