Unless it is given as otherwise, the residence is Smalley. Entries marked with * indicates that this record has not yet been verified, due to a problem with the film. It can be seen that there are several examples of 'block' baptisms, as yet there is nothing in the baptism registers to indicate the reason. It may be that the rector had undertaken a trawl of unbaptised parishioners. In the case of the large number of July 1837 baptisms, it is perhaps more likely that when civil registration was imminent, parish records had to be updated. |
